What is Intelligent Control??
From "Intelligent Control," Encyclopedia o f Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Vol. 10, pp. 493-503, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 1999. by P.J. Antsaklis, Intelligent controllers can be seen as machines which emulate human mental faculties such as adaptation and learning, planning under large uncertainty, coping with large amounts of data etc.
- Adaptation : this is ability not only for human but for any creature in the word. In control system plant have ability to adapt from they environment.
- Learning : this is ability to learn from plant environment. There are many methods for learning that is reward and punishment, compare input with output, reinforcement learning.
- Planning under large uncertainty: this is ability for planning although have many uncertainty.
- Coping with large amounts of data : this is ability to handle many data in a short time.
- Neural Network
- Fuzzy Contro
- Genetic Control
- Expert System
- Hybrid System
- Planning System
