Introduction of Intelligent Control

What is Intelligent Control??

From "Intelligent Control," Encyclopedia o f Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Vol. 10, pp. 493-503, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 1999. by P.J. Antsaklis, Intelligent controllers can be seen as machines which emulate human mental faculties such as adaptation and learning, planning under large uncertainty, coping with large amounts of data etc.
  • Adaptation : this is ability not only for human but for any creature in the word. In control    system plant have ability to adapt from they environment.
  • Learning : this is ability to learn from plant environment. There are many methods for learning that is reward and punishment, compare input with output, reinforcement learning.
  • Planning under large uncertainty: this is ability for planning although have many uncertainty.
  • Coping with large amounts of data : this is ability to handle many data in a short time.
 Example for intelligent control is:
  • Neural Network
  • Fuzzy Contro
  • Genetic Control
  • Expert System
  • Hybrid System
  • Planning System

Unstable System

From the graph above we can conclude that if one system is positive then the system will be unstable.
Why can not stabilized ???
The system is unstable if the input value is finite and have infinite output,
otherwise stable system input value is equal to or close to the value of output

from the graph can be seen the output value increase when t getting bigger.
